LYNN UNDERWOOD |
A building official with more than 20 years experience in the building safety profession, Lynn Underwood also is a former contractor and homebuilder. With a simple desire to build his own home, he discovered two passions: helping the owner-builder and the building inspection community.
Lynn is certified in eleven categories by the International Code Council and fourteen categories by the State of Virginia. He is a member of two national code committees. Lynn has written three nonfiction books by Craftsman Books, the National Association of Home Builders, and the International Conference of Building Officials, and has written numerous articles in almost a dozen national magazines including Fine Homebuilding and Mother Earth News.
